How to Become a Duck
If you're an undergraduate admitted for fall term, you'll need to submit your Intent to Register (ITR) to confirm your offer of admission and officially become a Duck. You can complete this process by logging in to DuckWeb, opening the Admissions Menu, selecting "Intent to Register Form," and following the directions on screen. (You can find additional information about this process here.)
The ITR form will prompt you to pay the $200 nonrefundable Advance Tuition Deposit. You can use an electronic check for no additional charge, or you can use a debit or credit card and pay a 2.35 percent fee. If you have applied for financial aid, you can request to defer payment by checking the box on the ITR form.
Once you've made it through the ITR process, that's it—you're officially #UOBound!
Once you've confirmed your offer of admission—and taken some time to celebrate—your next step is to sign up for orientation. Domestic freshmen attend IntroDUCKtion, our mandatory two-day orientation, advising, and registration program. Find a date that works for you, talk to your family, and sign up on DuckWeb.
