Undergraduate minor
About the minor
The Department of Global Studies offers a minor in global service. This minor gives students from any field the opportunity to develop leadership, communication and intercultural skills, and to develop a specialty in service unique to their own interests, expertise, and career goals. Students can choose concentrations in education, health, environment, agriculture, youth in development, or community economic development. Students enhance professional skills, and intercultural competence, and many also develop language proficiency. They also gain experience through hands-on practice related to their professional goals.
