Next Steps for Fall Enrollment
Classes start September 28, 2026.
Visit Campus and Register for a Duck Day in April
Duck Days are full-day experiences and provide an inside look at what it’s really like to be a Duck. You’ll meet future classmates, connect with faculty or advisors, and experience the energy of UO’s beautiful campus.
Check availability for our Apr 3, 10 or 17 dates via the admitted student events portal.
Important: Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received your confirmation email. These events often fill to capacity and once that occurs, we are unable to change your registration to accommodate previously made travel plans.
Make it Official by May 1
Submit your Intent to Register (ITR) and $200 advance tuition deposit to officially commit to the UO.
Confirm your decision (submit your ITR) by 11:59 pm on May 1. Contact us if you need information for spring, summer or winter terms
Transfer students: can confirm through summer.
Register for Housing by May 1
Register by the May 1 deadline to be in the second group of students to make room selections.
Access the My Housing portal 4 days after your admission notification. You will need your UO ID, which begins with 95 and was sent via email.
Explore residence halls, communities, room types, and meal plans.
Transfer students: housing registration required only if you’d like to live in on-campus residence halls.
Understanding Your Financial Aid Offer
Admitted students will receive financial aid offers between late March and early April. Keep an eye on your UO application status portal - your letter will appear there as soon as it’s ready. Once you’ve received it, you can explore what each part of the offer means and how it all fits together. Visit Financial Aid "Understanding Your Offer" for a friendly, easy-to-follow guide that walks you through grants, scholarships, loans, and other important details.
Important: When registering for a campus visit, please wait to make travel arrangements until you have received your confirmation email. These events often fill to capacity and once that occurs, we are unable to change your registration to accommodate previously made travel plans. For instance, we cannot add you to a full event even if you’ve made flight reservations before registering.
Attend a Duck Admissions Event Near You

If you can’t come to campus, these events are a great opportunity to connect with UO closer to home and learn about Duck life and academics. You’ll also celebrate your admission and connect with fellow incoming Ducks to begin building community before you ever set foot on campus.
