Favorite thing to do in Eugene: My favorite things to do in Eugene revolve around food and music. I love exploring all the restaurants in the city and I love attending concerts and Broadway shows at the Hult, Matthew Knight Arena, and the Cuthbert Amphitheatre.
Tips for college success: Don’t feel pressured to choose a major during your first year of college. Take all kinds of courses and talk to students from different majors to see what you would eventually like to major in. Also, try to get involved in everything you can: sport clubs, student organizations, community service activities, etc. This will allow you to make a lot of friends and will make your college experience an unforgettable one!
Why I decided to work at the UO: I decided to work at the UO because I love the campus atmosphere. I like that the UO is committed to having a diverse campus and it offers so many resources to make every student’s education a successful one.
Most memorable class: My most memorable college class is INTL 240. This was one of the first classes that I took at the UO and I loved it. The professor had such a unique and fun style of teaching that really made me pursue a degree in International Studies. Thanks Professor Galvan!
Favorite place to hang out on campus: My favorite place to be on campus is the Student Tennis Center. I love meeting up with my friends and playing tennis for an hour or two whenever I can.
Favorite restaurant: I like so many restaurants in Eugene but my favorite would have to be Mucho Gusto! I love Mexican food and this is a great place to get a fast and delicious meal.
If I didn't work at the UO: I have a passion for songwriting and performing music so I would love to be a performer and play my music in Madison Square Garden!
