Tips for your college search: Get organized! Create a spreadsheet with the colleges you’re interested in and list all the dates, deadlines, requirements, websites, passwords, ID numbers, contact information, etc. The college search can be overwhelming but keeping the easy facts and your student portal information all in one place will allow you to focus on the fun stuff—like campus tours!
My favorite UO fun fact: Back in the day, students used to bring a live duck to UO football games. If you haven’t heard of “Puddles,” go look him up!
Favorite place to hang out in Eugene: I’m a sucker for a good bookstore. Eugene has some great local bookstores to soak up a rainy afternoon.
Special skills: I was a performer for the Walt Disney Company for eight years so am a big Disney nerd. I have an extensive Disney pin collection and know probably too much Disney trivia.
If I didn’t work at the UO: I’d be a travel guide in Southeast Asia and eating my weight in Japanese food.
Tips for students in my region: Visit campus! You may have visited Eugene or driven through, but still allow yourself to experience an official campus tour and really get a feel for if you belong.
