Due to the delay in FAFSA data being supplied to the University of Oregon, the UO is extending the confirmation deadline to June 1, 2024, for first-year students admitted for fall 2024. We are also extending the priority FAFSA filing deadline to April 1, 2024, for all UO students.

This minor is designed specifically to complement a major and/or second minor in the social sciences, or professional schools such as business, journalism, or planning, public policy, and management. Coursework for the minor encourages the examination of the relationship between commerce and issues such as climate change, social inequality, and globalization from a variety of social scientific perspectives.
