The University of Oregon uses a holistic review process when making our admissions decisions. Though academic performance is important, we also consider strength of curriculum, English proficiency, grade trend, and other factors.
Freshman admission
For admission consideration, students from the Channel Islander education system must have passed two A-level subjects and five GCSE subjects (including English and math). Applicants who have completed only the GCSE’s must have passed English, math, and three additional academic subjects with a combined minimum average of B. If your secondary school uses a different grading scale, please contact us.
Students from Guernsey need to meet the University of Oregon's minimum English proficiency requirements for admission. If you do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirements, you may apply for conditional admission.
