Campus Visits

The best way to decide if the UO is right for you is to check it out yourself. Schedule a day and time for an independent visit, or attend a special visit event. Explore our beautiful grounds with the help of campus maps. If you're not able to visit us in Eugene, try the next best thing with the campus virtual tour.

The Office of Admissions, located on the second floor of Oregon Hall on the corner of 13th Avenue and Agate Street, is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We hold admission information sessions at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art and on Wednesday and Friday in the Knight Library Browsing Room. On Saturdays, the information session is held at 9:30 a.m. in Oregon Hall. The online campus map is a useful resource to help get your bearings, and to identify these locations.

Information sessions cover:

  • Admission requirements
  • Financial aid and scholarship opportunities
  • Campus housing
  • Eugene and the surrounding area
  • The UO campus community

Campus Tours

90 minute campus walking tours acquaint visitors with the main campus, and are offered each weekday at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. beginning on the first floor of Oregon Hall. On Saturdays, tours begin at 10:30 a.m. and leave from Oregon Hall. Accommodations for people with disabilities or others who need assistance will be provided if requested in advance.

Each campus tour concludes at the site of an admission information session, allowing a simple transition for visitors from the tour to the information session. Following the tour schedule, tours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays conclude at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, while Wednesday and Friday tours conclude at the Knight Library Browsing Room.
