Applying to the UO
Applicants who have completed 35 or fewer transferable quarter credits (23 semester credits), admission is based on both your high school and your college work. You must meet admission requirements for both freshmen and transfer students. If you have completed 36 or more quarter credits (24 of which must be graded), your admission is based only on your college-level course work.

| Articulation agreements with community colleges
When you complete an associate of arts Oregon transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree at an Oregon community college, you also complete your UO writing and group requirements. This agreement does not apply to students who earned an A.A. degree outside Oregon, with the exception of students from some Washington community colleges. |
