The University of Oregon uses a holistic review process when making our admissions decisions. Though academic performance is important, we also consider strength of curriculum, English proficiency, grade trend, and other factors.

Freshman admission

For admission consideration, students from the Seychellois education system must pass five academic subjects with a minimum of 25 points on SASC or have passed two A-level subjects and five GCSE subjects (including English and Math). Applicants who have completed only the GCSEs must have passed English, Math, and three additional academic subjects with a combined minimum average of ‘B.’ If your secondary school uses a different grading scale, please contact us.

Students from Seychelles need to meet the University of Oregon's minimum English proficiency requirements for admission. If you do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirements, you may apply for conditional admission.

Transfer admission

Transfer admission requirements vary by major requested and the university or college the student is transferring from. Learn more about our transfer admission process or contact us for additional information.
