Hands On Learning

The psychology department offers many opportunities for hands-on learning and research. You might work within the department as a research assistant. Or you might become a peer adviser.

The department also offers practicum and field experience opportunities. The Community Internship Program allows you to choose an internship for which you can receive academic credit.

Interdisciplinary Opportunities

Psychology integrates well with many other disciplines. You can combine it with studies in anthropology
and sociology if you’re interested in the social science perspective.
You can use it with biology and chemistry if you’re interested in medicine and health issues.
