International Student Timeline

As you apply to attend the University of Oregon, use this timeline to stay on track. Keep in mind, many departments and majors have earlier deadlines that are not listed on this timeline.

November

  • Apply for Clark Honors College early nonbinding notification by November 1. Submit your honors college application with your university application
  • Submit your Clark Honors College supporting documents for early notification by November 7

January

February

March

April

  • When you receive an Intent to Register form, complete it and return the form with business office and health history forms
  • Submit your application for the International Student Work-Study Program by April 15
  • Look for your residence hall contract if you applied by March 31. You'll need to send in a $250 prepayment by next month

May

  • Return your housing contract with the $250 prepayment by May 15 if you are planning to live on campus
  • If you're still attending school, don't let your grades slip because you'll need to submit final transcripts by next month
  • Submit your International Intent to Register form now to meet June 1 deadline

June

  • Last chance to submit International Intent to Register form is June 1
  • High school graduating seniors must provide the Office of Admissions with an official final high school transcript this month that includes the graduation date
  • As space becomes available, housing contracts will be sent to students whose applications were received after March 31. You'll need to send in a $250 prepayment once you get your paperwork

August

  • Start packing! If you have returned a housing contract and the $250 prepayment, you will receive your residence hall room assignment this month or next
