Application Guidelines
Completing your application
Before we can make a decision regarding your admission, we must receive the following:
- Your UO Application for Undergraduate Admission (apply online, download the PDF or request a paper application)
- A $50 nonrefundable application fee, or a fee deferral form
- Your official high school transcripts showing courses through at least the end of eleventh grade. Upon graduation, you will be required to submit a final transcript confirming graduation and showing all academic course work
- Your SAT or ACT (with the optional writing component) scores
- A list of your senior year courses
- If you have completed fewer than sixteen college preparatory courses during high school or you have a GPA below 3.25 on a 4.00 scale, a one-page admission essay is required
Comprehensive application review
The University of Oregon will consider a number of factors when making admission decisions for students with a GPA below 3.25 or with fewer than 16 college preparatory units. Please see our full description of the comprehensive review for more information.
